Purpose of Position:
Provides food preparation assistance for activities of the Food Services Department by utilizing existing resources to support the mission of Fraser, Ltd.
Functions and Responsibilities:
Assists with business planning, meal preparation, inventory control, and kitchen sanitation,
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum five years food service experience with extensive knowledge in menu development and preparation of quality food. High degree of personal hygiene is required. Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills are essential, with the ability to effectively manage workload, and plan, develop, and implement department goals and objectives. Working knowledge and understanding of all application laws and regulations pertaining to food service program delivery is necessary. Attendance of Food Service workshops and/or seminars as required.
