Snickerdoodles
Ingredients
2 3⁄4 cups sifted flour
3 teaspoon baking powder
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1 cup soft butter

1 1⁄2 cups sugar
2 beaten eggs
4 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon
2 beaten eggs

Directions
- Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter, add 1 1⁄2 cups sugar gradually and cream until fluffy, add beaten eggs and mix.
- Add sifted dry ingredients gradually and mix. Chill in refrigerator. Mold dough into small balls, using 1 tablespoon dough for each ball, and roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
- Bake about 2″ apart on ungreased baking sheets in a preheated 350℉ oven about 10 minutes. Store in covered container. Makes 5 dozen.
