About Us
Fraser, Ltd. is the longest serving non-profit organization in North Dakota. It was established in 1893 as the Florence Crittenton Home for unwed mothers. Since its inception, Fraser, Ltd. continues to meet the needs of children, youth, and adults. Services and resources offered at Fraser, Ltd. have grown significantly to include independent living support, residential services, and day support services for people with disabilities; childcare services for children who are typically developing and children with special needs; and transitional youth services which provide skill training and basic needs resources for transition age youth (16-26).

Children’s Services
We provide a safe, healthy, and inclusive learning environment in which children that are typically developing and those with special needs learn and grow together.
About Our Child Care Center:
With 25 years of experience, Fraser Child Care Center is well known and established in the Fargo/Moorhead community. A variety of engaging learning activities and fun play experiences are part of each day. Activities are planned with the age and interests of children in mind and our goal is to prepare them for their next level of learning.
Transitional Youth Services
Transitional Youth Services provides shelter, basic needs, life skills education and advocacy services for disenfranchised youth by supporting independent thought and empowering self-directed action.
Three Unique Programs
Including a drop-in center, transitional living program, and permanent supportive housing project. It is the goal of these programs to fill the need of sheltering and housing options, basic needs, life skills education and advocacy services for transitioning young adults ages 16 - 26 who are homeless or are at risk of being homeless.
Adult Services & Independent Living
Education, advocacy, and active treatment for people with intellectual disabilities by providing supportive services in a residential environment.
The goal of this program is to integrate community-based residential support, comprehensive life skills development, and volunteer opportunities for adults living with intellectual disabilities.
Independent Living Services:
Individualized programming is provided to support people with a wide variety of challenges including Prader-Willi Syndrome, Dementia, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Celiac Disease, mobility impairment, hearing loss, and vision loss.

Cass County Electric Cooperative Foundation awards Fraser, Ltd.’s Skill Enhancement Training program $3,000 for operating costs associate with the daily independent living activities and therapy services.
