These lists reflect our most immediate and ongoing needs, and help us manage limited storage space while ensuring that donated items can be put to good use right away.

In addition to general donation needs, our Child Care Center is seeking specialized items to better serve children with special needs. Transitional Youth Services

  • Personal Care & First Aid: Hygiene items, tampons & pantiliners, shampoo & conditioner, men's body wash, antibacterial bar & liquid soap, wet hair brushes, travel-size hand sanitizer, flushable wipes, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, cortisone cream, bacitracin, Band-Aids, anti-burn cream, aloe vera, sunscreen & bug spray (including kid versions), Coban wrap, 2x2 sterile gauze.

  • Household & Supplies: Basic cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaner, 13-gallon garbage cans, kitchen essentials - dishes, pots/pans, silverware, cups, can openers, photo printer & paper, twin sheets, pillow cases, washcloths, bath towels, rags.

  • Clothing & Essentials: Young men’s clothing (size 3XL and up), new men’s & women’s underwear, men's work boots (sizes 11-13), men's and women's slides.

  • Infant Care: Formula for babies under 1 year, bottles, sippy cups, size 5 & 6 diapers, baby wipes, A&D/diaper rash cream.

  • Sports & Outdoor Activities: Bike locks, rollerblades, lawn games - ladder ball, Jenga, bean bag toss, soccer ball (size 5), small soccer net, portable volleyball net & volleyball, fire pit & s’mores sticks, lawn chairs, frisbees & frisbee golf sets, footballs, balls for dodgeball, kickball & 4 square, badminton set, toss & catch game set, wiffleball, hula hoops, hacky sacks, yo-yos, jump ropes, playing cards, UNO, bingo set.

Child Care

SET Program

  • Pantry Items: Pasta, tomato & cream of chicken soup, canned vegetables, spaghetti & alfredo sauce, pizza & tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, pickles, taco shells & seasoning, rice, muffin & cake mix, syrup, snacks, Capri Sun, granola bars, peanut butter, jelly, cooking oil, sugar, flour, quick-rising yeast, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, salt & pepper.
  • Activities & Recreation: Legos, puzzles, cornhole, outdoor games, adult coloring books, colored pencils, markers, gel pens, .
  • Life Skills Development: Restaurant and grocery store gift cards help youth build skills in budgeting, manners, restaurant etiquette, grocery navigation, and shopping from an ingredient list.

Valley Hope Counseling

  • Group Therapy Support (TYS): To support youth participating in Transitional Youth Services group therapy, we are in need of comfort and wellness items such as fidget toys & stress balls, journals & pens, lotion & chapstick, face & eye masks, manicure sets, and sidewalk chalk.
    Gift cards in $5 & $10 increments to Casey’s, Starbucks, DoorDash, McDonald’s, Hornbacher’s, and Subway are also appreciated to help encourage engagement and participation.
