Cranberry Nut Bread
Ingredients
1 1⁄2 cups fresh cranberries
2 1⁄2 cups sifted flour
3⁄4 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons melted shortening

1⁄4 cup orange juice

Directions
- Sift dry ingredients together. Combine milk, eggs, and shortening. Add cranberries, nuts, orange peel and juice.
- Add liquid mix to sifted dry ingredients, stirring only enough to moisten flour. Pour into 2 small greased loaf pans.
- Bake 40 to 60 minutes at 350°F.
