We’re hiring a Residential Coordinator for our Adult Independent Living program. In this role, you’ll supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals, coordinate day-to-day care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and ensure a high standard of living and support in a residential setting.
What You’ll Do:
Leadership & Team Support
- Supervise DSPs
- Mentor and evaluate staff performance
- Assist with hiring, scheduling, and timesheet approval
- Foster a team culture that centers individuals’ needs
Program & Resident Support
- Coordinate and monitor individual support plans (ISPs)
- Promote inclusion through social and community engagement
- Oversee finances, transportation, and housing-related needs
- Maintain consistent communication with guardians, family, and case managers
Training & Development
- Lead new staff orientation, including First Aid/CPR training
- Coordinate staff meetings and ensure DSPs receive both in-service and program specific training
- Provide in-home coaching and modeling of care strategies
- Identify additional training needs and provide follow-up support
Administrative & Compliance
- Ensure documentation, reports, and compliance standards are met
- Support benefits management (SSI, Medicaid, SNAP, etc.)
- Participate in the on-call rotation and agency committees
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Acquire and maintain CPR & First Aid Instructor Certification, instructing training classes as requested
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
